Pleased be advised that the Borough of Tuckerton Water and Sewer Department is in the process of the rehabilitation and painting of our 1.2 million gallon standpipe located at 445 South Green St. Important information regarding this rehabilitation can be found on Nixle or please visit our link on the home page. Please note that this work is scheduled to begin on or about the week of November 9, 2015 till on or about the week of December 23, 2015.

THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT HURRICANE SANDY CLAIMS FOR REVIEW HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 15, 2015!
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is reminding National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) policyholders who filed a claim as a result of Hurricane Sandy that two weeks remain to request a review if they believe their claims were underpaid for any reason. Marsh Restoration and Replenishment Project
The Township of Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton Borough are working together to complete an ambitious area-wide coastal dredging and ecosystem restoration project with funds provided by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) through the Hurricane Sandy Resiliency Competitive Grants Program. Strategic Recovery Planning Report
The Borough of Tuckerton participated in the Getting to Resilience (GTR) process developed by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and adapted and enhanced by the Jacques Cousteau Estuarine Research Reserve (JCNERR). Through this process, the Borough was able to identify specific actions that will enhance long term resiliency in the town. These recommendations are integrated in the Strategic Recovery Planning Report.
