Area includes Great Bay Blvd., Sloop Landing, Leeds, Leifried, Center, Western, Floyd, Maple, Lakeside, North Green, First,Second,Third,Fourth, Pharo, Lake, Pine, McConomy, Wood, Church, Railroad, North Marine, West Main, Locust, all Tuckerton Estates and Bayview Trailer Park.

MATERIALS TO BE RECYCLED:
Picked up at Curbside: >The following should be in one container not to exceed 35 gallons-pickup based on zones-Newspapers, magazines/junk mail, paper bags,ALL clean paper products, tin/aluminum Cans, ALL glass bottles, plastic bottles
> Cardboard and Rigid Plastic: Cardboard (bundled together)-examples are: Cereal boxes, non-waxed food containers, boxes, etc. Rigid Plastic-examples are: All buckets, all plastic lawn furniture, plastic totes, plastic drums, plastic toys/car seats/playhouse. For a full list please contact the Public Works Yard at 609-296-5058.
NOT Picked up at Curbside-but can be brought to Public Works Yard:
T.V. monitors and computers > motor oil/cooking oil/any other oils > Paint/shrink wrap/batteries (vehicle, boat, power tools)
Things that are NOT Recyclable Material: Styrofoam, plastic bags
PLEASE NOTE: If a homeowner’s garbage is found to contain recyclables it will be their responsibility to separate all recyclables prior to removal by the Tuckerton Borough Dept of Public Works.
Recyclables Should: Be separated from regular household waste.
> Be placed curbside by 6:30am the day of collection and removed no later than 8pm the day of collection. > Not to be placed in plastic bags > Be clean of all food and liquid waste.
Leaves: Curbside leaves are collected during the whole month of April, May, October and November. Pick-up will be on Tuesday throughout the months designated.
Grass: We encourage you to cut and leave your grass clippings on your lawn when you mow and let nature do the recycling.

N.J.S.A 13:1de-99.11 et seq. (Recycling Act)
1st Offense Written Warning
a. Each day a violation is committed or permitted to constitute a separate offense shall be punishable as such.
b. Said material shall be left for the owner to properly separate.
2nd Offense: Within one (1) year of the written warning/Infraction: $50.00 FINE
a. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such.
B. Said materials shall be left for the owner to properly separate.
Containers shall be clearly marked with decal or letter "R". Decals may be obtained at Public Works Department.
DO NOT PUT RECYCLING IN (AUTOMATED TRASH CARTS) RECYCLING CONTAINERS ONLY!
Refrigerators, Freezers/Air Conditioners:Obtain permit from Construction Office $12.00 charge for permit. Doors must be removed from refrigerators and freezers. Unit must be dropped off at yard or picked up curbside.
Brush and Clippings:Brush must be bundles and tied in 4-foot lengths or less weighing no more than 40 lbs. Limbs can not be more 3 ½ inches in diameter. Small brush, leaves, pine needles must go in plastic bags or cans.
Telephone Books:Phone Books can be placed at curbside.
Recycling Coordinators Note:Please make sure this information will be visible to tenants. Any violations shall be issued to owner of property.

Concrete: Clean concrete only. Ceramic tiles, asphalt, toilets

Used motor oil.
